This timeless piece is called the Fremont. It’s a handsome bike but also seems lovely for the fairer sex because I would be devastatingly cute riding around town on this.
The designers, Ziba+Signal, posted mock-ups and this is essentially where they began:
In an interview with the folks at Signal it was mentioned that with regard to design and craftsmanship it’s difficult not being attracted to the builders that came before. I think it’s an excellent explanation of where the designers were going with the Fremont. Its timeless design commands respect.
